As an avid traveler with a love for history, my stay at 87 Micklegate in York was a dream come true. This beautifully renovated 3-bedroom apartment, nestled in a historic timber-framed building dating back to the 1500s, was not only charming and quirky but also provided all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. the location on Micklegate, a bustling street filled with bars and restaurants, was perfect for exploring the city on foot. the views from the apartment were stunning, with a gorgeous church visible from the back windows. the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and washing machine, made it easy for us to prepare meals and enjoy cozy evenings in. the attention to detail in the decor, including historic embroidery paintings on the walls, added to the overall atmospheric feel of stepping back in time. Plus, the small yard at the rear of the property was a lovely spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere of this wonderful medieval property. Overall, our stay at 87 Micklegate was nothing short of magical, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in York.
